Bold Guide LLC ("we", "us", "our") operates boldguide.io and the LeadForge API. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Who we are

Bold Guide LLC, a single-founder business registered in California, USA. Contact: support@boldguide.io.

2. What we collect

Email address — when you buy a product, request a free sample, or sign up for the LeadForge API.
Payment metadata — Stripe handles all card data. We only see transaction IDs and the last 4 digits of your card. We never store full card numbers.
API usage logs — for LeadForge customers: which endpoints you call, when, and how many credits you've used. Used for billing limits and abuse detection.
Public business data — LeadForge enriches publicly available information about companies (domains, public emails, public LinkedIn data). We do not collect or sell personal consumer data.

3. How we use it

Deliver the product you bought (download links, API keys, support emails)
Process refunds via Stripe
Send transactional emails (receipts, download links) — never marketing without your opt-in
Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

4. What we do NOT do

Sell your data to third parties
Track you across other websites
Run ads on this site
Send marketing email without explicit opt-in

5. Service providers we use

Stripe — payment processing (privacy policy)
Render — hosting (privacy policy)
GitHub Pages — marketing site hosting
Google (Gmail SMTP) — transactional email delivery

6. LeadForge data accuracy & opt-out

LeadForge returns inferred or publicly-sourced business data. If you find your email or company information returned by our API and want it removed, email support@boldguide.io with the data in question. We honor deletion requests within 30 days at no cost.

7. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
Deletion — request we delete your data
Correction — request we fix incorrect data
Opt-out — request we stop processing your data for any non-essential purpose

To exercise any of these rights, email support@boldguide.io. We respond within 30 days.

8. Data retention

Customer email + purchase records: 7 years (US tax law). API usage logs: 90 days. Lead magnet emails: until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

9. Cookies

boldguide.io uses no third-party tracking cookies. The LeadForge dashboard uses a session cookie required for login.

10. Changes

If we materially change this policy, we'll update the "last updated" date and email active customers.
